      7. Our own Services

      7.1 Flexible Ticket

      7.1.1 If purchased during the booking procedure, the Flexible Ticket allows You to change date and/or time of your flight booking under the terms set out in this section, without paying our change fee and/or the airline’s change fee. When providing our Flexible Ticket service, We only mediate the transport contract between You and the relevant airline. As the Flexible Ticket is our own service (i.e. You cannot make use of our Flexible Ticket service by contacting the airline directly) all rebooking requests making use of the Flexible Ticket service must be made via our customer service (see Section 7.1.4).

      7.1.2 The Flexible Ticket allows flights to be rebooked under the following conditions:

      • All rebookings must be made in accordance with Section 7.1.4 and at least 24 hours before the original time of departure.
      • Rebooking is only possible within the same airline, i.e. a flight can only be rebooked to a flight operated by the same airline as the one operating the originally booked ticket.
      • Flight segments must be used in the same order in which they were originally booked.
      • Upgrading to a different cabin, or booking class, on the same flight is not permitted.
      • Rebooking a ticket for a so called “stop-over” (i.e. staying in a connection city longer than originally booked) is not permitted.
      • A change of origin and/or destination is not possible, neither for the outbound nor the return flight.
      • The Flexible Ticket does not allow any names to be changed or corrected.
      • A journey can only be rebooked once. Once the change has been confirmed, the Flexible Ticket has been used up.
      • In case of rebooking, the journey must be completed within one year from the time of original booking. The new trip may not commence within 24 hours from the time of change request.
      • The booking is non-refundable once the Flexible Ticket service has been used.

      7.1.3 The Flexible Ticket must be booked and paid for during the booking process and cannot be added afterwards.

      7.1.4 If You want to rebook your ticket, You have to contact our customer service by phone during our ordinary opening hours.

      7.1.5 Rebooking is only completed once We have confirmed it by e-mail. If You do not receive a confirmation, please contact our customer service.

      7.1.6 The rebooking of flights using the Flexible Ticket service is subject to availability. If the desired change results in a more expensive ticket, or if the change leads to the passenger no longer being entitled to a special price (e.g. for a small child), You have to bear the additional costs yourself. We are not responsible for the effects rebooking may have on any additional services concluded directly with the airline (such as booking of additional luggage or seat reservations)..

      7.1.7 If You cancel the flight, the price for the Flexible Ticket service will not be refunded.

      7.1.8 If You do not turn up for a segment of the journey, the rebooking option through the Flexible Ticket service will no longer be valid.

      7.2 Self-transfer Guarantee

      7.2.1 If our connection guarantee assistance services as outlined in this section 7.2 (hereinafter referred to as the "Self-transfer Guarantee") is included in your booking this will be clearly stated during the booking process and on your booking confirmation. If your booking also includes other flight connections, please note that the Self-transfer Guarantee only applies for the part of your booking that is marked with "self-transfer".

      7.2.2 With the exception of the exclusions below, the Self-transfer Guarantee applies in the following cases (each a "Change"):

      • in case any of your flight(s) are rescheduled, delayed or cancelled by the respective airline causing you to miss the flight(s) to your destination;
      • if you miss a connecting flight due to baggage delays or losses outside your reasonable control; and
      • if you miss a connecting flight because of customs- or immigration processes outside your reasonable control.

      7.2.3 The Self-transfer Guarantee does not apply:

      • if the Change only affects flight(s) within the same ticket (issued as one e-ticket/PNR). The airline providing the flight(s) is responsible for any issues and for managing the Flight Changes (you may contact the applicable airline directly for assistance and/or questions);
      • if the Change is due to force majeure situations, meaning circumstances outside the airline’s reasonable control such as (without limitation) political instability, extreme weather conditions, security risks, strikes, major limitation of airport operation and/or airline bankruptcy/insolvency;
      • for any action (or lack of action) which is reasonably within your control, including for example if you miss a flight because (i) you don’t have an appropriate visa, travel documents or any other documentation required for your travel; or (ii) you breach any airline rules and restrictions; or
      • if you travel with a checked baggage despite booking a self-transfer trip marked with “no checked bag”, i.e. a self-transfer trip with a short connection time; or
      • if you have made changes to your Booking without our previous approval.

      7.2.4 Inform Us without undue delay.
      If You want to use the Self-transfer Guarantee You must inform Us without undue delay by telephone after You are aware of a Change. See preamble for contact details. Should You not inform Us without undue delay, You will not be entitled to use the Self-transfer Guarantee.

      7.2.5 Self-transfer Guarantee Assistance – alternative flight(s) or refund.
      After We have been informed about the Change, We will offer You to choose from one of the following options:
      a) alternative flight(s) to your final destination at our expense (the exact flight(s) offered by us will be communicated to You);
      b) a refund of the price You paid for the unused flight(s) at the time of your booking; or
      c) flight(s) for returning to the airport of Your departure at our expense (the exact flight(s) offered by us will be communicated to You).

      In case We cannot offer You reasonable flight(s) to your final destination we may refer You to alternative airports. In such case We will cover your costs for transportation to the alternative airport.

      If there are more than 48 hours until the affected flight’s original departure time We will decide upon one option set forth in 7.2.5. in our sole discretion.

      7.2.6 Your acceptance of the offered assistance
      You must respond with your choice as soon as possible after receiving more information from us on your options set out in subsection 5 (a)-(c) above. If We do not receive your answer within a reasonable time (in any case not more than 24 hours) your right to use the Self-transfer Guarantee is depleted.

      7.2.7 Additional Compensations
      In addition to your rights detailed in this Section 7.2, the Self-transfer Guarantee entitles You to the following:

      • Accommodation – If a Change occurs with short notice leaving You without accommodation for the night (22:00-08:00), We will cover your costs for accommodation for one or several nights. The compensation is limited to a total of 100 USD per passenger covered by the Self-transfer Guarantee. Any compensation for accommodation that You receive from the airline will be deducted from the Self-transfer Guarantee refund.
      • Meal & Beverage – If a Change leads to your flight(s) being delayed by more than 4 hours, We will cover the cost of meal and beverages up to a total of 12 USD per passenger covered by the Self-transfer Guarantee. Any compensation for meal and/or beverages that You receive from the airline will be deducted from the Self-transfer Guarantee refund.

      Note that You will need to cover the expenses and provide Us with receipt(s) for such expenses.

      11. Cancellation & Refund Policy

      By accessing this website we assume you accept Adam Vacations, Cancellation & Refund Policy. Do not continue to use us.adamvacations.com if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

      1. General Information

      We operate the Adam Vacations Platform as an intermediary platform where various local activity providers (e.g., amusement parks, museums, tour guides, boat tours) offer tours and Activities ("Activities") online. These Activities can include guided tours, cooking classes, sightseeing tours by bus, boat trips, tickets for sightseeing, and other services. We act as a commercial agent for the Suppliers, and the descriptions, photographs, and other content for the Activities originate from the respective Suppliers, over which we have no direct influence.

      The use of the Adam Vacations Platform is for personal use only; any commercial use, including the resale of tickets, is strictly prohibited.

      2. Service Agreement

      You can view Activities on the Adam Vacations Platform. The contract for the provision of the Activity is concluded exclusively between you and the Supplier ("Service Agreement"). When you purchase an Activity on the Adam Vacations Platform, you are buying directly from the Supplier, not from us. We act as a commercial agent for the Suppliers, authorized to conclude transactions between Suppliers and Users and to collect payments. We do not offer any Activities ourselves and are not a contractual party to any Service Agreement. We receive a commission from the Supplier for brokering the Service Agreement.

      3. Conditions of Use

      We reserve the right to condition the use of the Adam Vacations Platform and its individual functions on certain criteria, such as user payment behavior or the presentation of specific proof (e.g., proof of identity, purchase, payment, or ownership). We also reserve the right to restrict or cancel Activities in cases of suspected fraud, violation of terms, or violation of obligations under the Service Agreement.

      4. Payments

      Adam Vacations is entitled to receive invoiced amounts on behalf of the Supplier unless otherwise stated in the Supplier's invoice. By paying Adam Vacations, you fulfill your payment obligations towards the Supplier. If payments are to be made in a foreign currency, Adam Vacations may collect payment in your local currency and convert the foreign currency claim at the current exchange rate, potentially charging a reasonable exchange fee for highly volatile currencies.

      5. Refunds and Payment Information

      We are your contact for Service Agreements and payments as the commercial agent of the Supplier. For refund requests outside of our cancellation policy, contact us and we will reach out to the Supplier, who will decide whether to honour the refund. If granted, the refund will be processed through us.

      You must provide truthful payment information and update it immediately if there are changes. The permitted payment methods for the Activity will be displayed during the order process, and the terms of the payment service provider will apply. Additional fees may be charged by your payment service provider, and you must confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

      In some cases, payments may be processed by a sub-agent, such as Adam Vacations Operations Inc. for USA transactions. These payments are subject to the same terms and conditions as direct payments to us. For payment-related questions, contact our customer service team.

      By authorizing payment, you consent to the use of your payment information for collecting payments for the Supplier. We may condition the use of the payment function or methods on a creditworthiness check.

      6. Changes and Cancellations

      You may cancel Service Agreements according to the cancellation conditions stated in the Supplier T&Cs, the Activity description on the Adam Vacations Platform, or on the voucher/ticket. Changes and cancellations must be made via the Adam Vacations Platform using the form available at Contact us ⎸Adam Vacations, unless otherwise agreed. Changes or cancellations must be made within the applicable period and are subject to the Activity's availability. The decisive factor for a timely cancellation is the receipt of the notification by Adam Vacations. We will issue a confirmation of cancellation/change on behalf of the Supplier, which must be kept as proof.

      We may notify you of changes or cancellations on behalf of the Supplier via your provided contact information.

      Unless otherwise specified, the following cancellation conditions apply:
      • For cancellations more than 24 hours before the Activity: full refund of the Booking Price.
      • For cancellations 24 hours or less before the Activity or in case of no-show: no refund.
      7. Airline Tickets

      Once booked, airline tickets are non-refundable. Changes or rebooking of vacation packages are subject to airline fees and regulations, as well as a re-ticketing fee and any fare differences. If you cancel without rebooking, you will receive an air credit for future travel, redeemable within one year (60 days for Spirit Airlines). Airfare credits are limited to the named ticketed passenger and are subject to airline restrictions.

      Airlines may cancel duplicate reservations without notice. Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations is not responsible for airline schedule changes, delays, cancellations, or failures to perform. Guests should reconfirm flights directly with the airline, as schedules are subject to change. Additional airline fees may apply. Seat selection is not guaranteed and may be assigned at check-in. Guests under 18 must fly with an adult on the same itinerary. Government-issued photo ID is required for passengers 18 and older. Provide full, legal names of all passengers, including children's ages, at the time of booking.

      Airfares may be subject to additional restrictions, availability, and changes without notice. Taxes and fees, including various airline surcharges, are charged per ticket.

      8. Hotel Accommodations

      Hotel check-in times vary by location. Standard rooms include two double beds unless otherwise stated. Charges for in-room safes, rollaway beds, cribs, taxes, gratuities, resort fees, parking fees, laundry, telephone calls, meals, beverages, sightseeing, or other incidentals are the guest's responsibility. Room requests (e.g., adjacent rooms, bedding types, smoking preferences) are subject to availability at check-in. Inform us of any special needs at booking.

      9. Car Rental Transactions

      If you keep a rental car longer than the original reservation, you must pay additional amounts, including taxes and fees, directly to the rental agency. Additional products or services offered by the rental company must be paid for at pick-up.

      10. Attraction Tickets and Features

      Attraction tickets are non-refundable once purchased and must be paid in full at booking. Theme parks, restaurants, shows, attractions, rides, entertainment, and other services and features may change without notice and may be temporarily closed due to renovation, capacity, inclement weather, special events, or other reasons without liability to Adam Vacations.
